Where do you teach?
Home, Creative Needlework Festival (Toronto) and workshops.

What do you teach?
Beginners, Shading, Primitive, Pictorials, Geometrics, 3-D Hooking.

What is your favourite thing to teach?
Everything!

Do you offer workshops?
Yes. I offer one-day workshops (9:30 to 3:30) for 3-D hooking, Christmas Stockings, Tea Cozy, Sculptures Pins. I am happy to travel to teach them.

How far are you willing to travel to do a workshop?
I generally like to travel about 50 km, but can talk about other distances.

What do you like best about teaching?
It is wonderful seeing students trying new ideas in rug hooking and finding out how their creative thoughts can come alive. I love showing how simple rug hooking is and how to save money by using both recycled material and new.

What is your favourite tip to share with your students?
Create a diary of what you are hooking;  use it to record when you start, the name of the designer, colours used, problems that happened and how they were overcome.

Don't be afraid to work with all kinds of material to create some wonderful affects in your hooked pieces.
