Rug hooking events take place across the province, throughout the country, and in the U.S. While we make every attempt to make this list inclusive, we ask for your help in notifiying us of events of interest to the rug hooking community. Sumbit events to the webmaster.

| Jan 28 | Georgetown Rug Hooking Guild hosts an Open House from 9 am to 4 pm at St Andrews United Church, 89 Mountainview Road South, Georgetown. Cost $5.00. Guest Speaker is Judy Lyons, Textile Appraiser speaking on the importance of appraisals and demonstrating an appraisal of hooked rugs. | July 8 | The Y2K Rug Bugs Annual Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at St. Christophers Beach in Goderich, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. rain or shine! Please bring a lawn chair, bag lunch and of course you hooking - snacks, coffee and tea will be provided. We hope to have some vendors present, door prizes and our hooking friends - all are welcome. Spread the word and hope to see you all on the eighth of July. |
